With such amazing surrounds, it's no surprise that Silverton boasts such a thriving art scene.
A number of galleries displaying the work of dozens of artists, the town is an outback oasis for art lovers from all walks of life.
The rich landscape, endless views, breathtaking sunsets and pure light make Silverton ideal for capturing on canvas.
As well as artists such as Albert Woodroffe and Peter Browne working and living in Silverton, virtually every store and attraction contains pieces of the region's unique artwork.
The landscape has been depicted too many times to mention, on canvas, through photographs, and on the silver screen.
